My resume is a reflection of my work and accomplishments during the last four years while attending Auburn University. I have included three sections: education, involvement and experience.
My education has shaped who I have become. During my time at Auburn, I have taken public relations, communication, journalism and business coursework. I feel I am adequately prepared to begin my career in the public relations field.
I have always been passionate about making an impact. Through my involvement with organizations on campus, I have had the ability to give back yet take away new skills and experiences. The main organizations I am involved with are PRSSA & PRCA, Lambda Pi Eta, the Student Philanthropy Board and IMPACT.
I have had experience interning for the Office of Communications and Marketing at Auburn University, working as an assistant at L&M Interior Design and working as a sales clerk at C.S. Toggery. Throughout my work experiences, I have acquired various skills that I will use in the field of public relations.
I really enjoyed interning for the Office of Communications and Marketing at Auburn University. During my time there, I was able to promote the university through its website, newsletters and social media. Collaboration was an important part of my internship, as I worked with the Office of Communications and Marketing staff to create new ways to recruit potential students.
At L&M Interior Design, I had the opportunity to do a multitude of tasks. A few of my roles were to write for the website, assist at photo shoots, help create the showroom and run daily errands. My favorite role was helping the owners promote the business through social media.
While working at C.S. Toggery as a sales clerk, I enjoyed interacting with the customers. Building relationships with people is extremely important to me.
